Vijeta is Partner-Assurance, FEMA & Other Laws in the firm and currently leads the FEMA Law division of the Firm. She qualified as a CA in 2004 and then added Diploma in Information Systems Audit (ICAI) as an additional qualification in 2005. She has more than 20 years of work experience advising and teaming with clients for providing financial reporting advisory services, assurance, tax advisory for both corporates and individuals, accounting transaction advisory, and tax and compliance support offering 360-degree solution and support to her clients. She has gained real estate industry knowledge, experience and insight over the years and offers core advisory services for real estate practices integrated with providing transaction management and tax advisory services to real estate owners, developers and investors.

Over her professional lifespan, she also has gained vast experience in FEMA and provides advisory to clients on Inbound/ Outbound investments, Entry Level Strategies Foreign Investment Policy and Exchange Control regulations for setting up office in India. She assists clients in dealing with Secretarial Compliance of FEMA, FDI, ODI and services related to compounding and condonation of offences under FEMA.

With a strong academic background, she has emerged as an outstanding purpose-driven leader in all her major roles over her work span with us to create lasting value for clients. She is also responsible for leading and directing the performance of our interns and advocates for inclusive culture ensuring that they effectively represent the firm’s vision and culture.

Outside of work, her absolute favorite way to spend her free time is listening to music, reading and travelling.
