Ruchika qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 2013 and is working with VKC as Senior Associate. Hailing from Dehradun, she holds a Master's Degree in Commerce from HNBGU, Srinagar. She is the firm’s lead in handling scrutiny assessment cases. In addition, her job profiles includes handling of assignments for registration & renewal of charitable institutions, filing and drafting appeals before the tax authorities, representation for grant of various exemption certificates, catering to notices and enquiries by the department to name a few.

Ruchika’s trifecta of hardwork, organizational skills and professional expertise in the scrutiny field provides an essential foundation for grounding her role in the Direct Tax team. She handles a large team of professionals and is dedicated and result-oriented. She has an innate ability to recognize trends and adapt to changing tax landscapes. she has over the years developed expertise  in domestic taxation and has helped clients in various tax compliance. She has handled scrutiny assignments of various client, which includes foreign clients, renowned school of the India, top universities of  Uttarakhand, manufacturing units, real estate units, retails business, hotel units, professionals etc 

Being a lead in the direct tax wing, she also provides valuable assistance to the internal verticals within the organization on direct tax advisory and compliances.

Besides her commitments professionally, on a personal front, she is a fitness freak and believes that fitness is of utmost importance not only for a healthy lifestyle, but also for a productive professional life.
